Ubuntu 9.10 release soon

AZorin: Getting ready for the Zorin OS 2.0 launch and BT Young Scientist 2010 in Dublin, Ireland. Posted by AZorin at 11:23 AM on October 22, 2009

In around a week or so Ubuntu 9.10 will be released online, we have also added a countdown to the Zorin OS site (on the right). Ubuntu 9.10 will be the base for Zorin OS 2.0, it will feature many bug fixes and new refinements. Although the release of Ubuntu 9.10 is important to the Zorin OS project, you should NOT UPDATE TO UBUNTU 9.10 WHEN IT ASKS YOU TO as it can mess up your Zorin OS installation. To turn off update notifications, press Start, in the search box type in "Update Manager" without the quotation marks, then in the "Update Manager" Window press "Settings..." and in the "Updates" tab press on the Release upgrade drop down menu and select "Never". This problem will be resolved in Zorin OS 2.0.
