The Zorin OS Team are proud to announce that Zorin OS 4 Educational Lite is now available to download. As we want to bridge the gap between technology and education, we want to apply this to the whole world, including Third World countries. As old and low-spec computers are widely used throughout these countries we have created Zorin OS 4 Educational Lite, which is based upon Zorin OS 4 Lite. This is the most lightweight and resource friendly educational operating system in the world, but it still keeps the main features and principles for educational purposes of the fully equipped Zorin OS 4 Educational flavor. It has one of the largest selections of educational software out-of-the-box in the world. The minimal requirements needed to run the system are: a 4GB HDD, a 266 MHz CPU, 128 MB of Ram and a DVD or USB drive.
