Users of Zorin OS 4 may be prompted to upgrade to Ubuntu 11.04. We strongly urge you not to do so  as the upgrade process may render your install unusable.

We are already working on the next version of Zorin OS (5) which is due to be released by the end of May 2011. Zorin OS 5 will be based on Ubuntu 11.04 but it will use the Classic GNOME desktop environment instead of Ubuntu's new Unity or GNOME Shell. Please wait for this new release to enjoy all of the new updates and enchancements in this new release.

hi
i installed Zorin OS 4 to be the nice and clean part of my PC to do all the work with. But i also downloaded and updated to 11.04 without reading any warnings and now it's not the nice and clean part anymore. It didn't hurt windows and the older version of Zorin is still running somehow but i'd still like to get rid of that update, so pleas tell me that Zorin OS 5 will kill this Ubuntu 11.04 or is there anther way to get to make it disappear ?

I've just upgraded from Ubuntu 10.04 to 11.04. This unity desktop is very cumbersome, nothing is just a thought away anymore. You have to actually do a "search?" for some apps. It's full of bugs too especially when you install Google Earth. The fonts are reduced to crap. Thank God that I've just discovered Zorin. It's all that 11.04 was plus a pile of extra stuff.
