Hi there

my name is James Fisher .

over the last four decades it has been my privilege and pleasureto have looked after a menagerie of family pets at least a dozen dogs several cats .a number of caged birds we managed to inherit.

at the moment we only have one dog and about thirty odd Koi carp.some of which are over twenty years old and of great size .

although they are fish they do need a lot of looking after but ifyou get the basics right

they will pretty much manage the rest them selves . I have alwaysbeen interested in all things zoological. and have passed on myinterest to my sons and daughters who are also pet lovers .its amajor responsibility to be responsible for the life of any animal nomatter how small and insignificant it may seem to be.

Even a insect has the right to a happy life now all the spear timeI have is taken up with my main interest fish breeding my wife iskeen so that makes it easier and at least we share a commoninterested.

our only reaming dog is getting on now and needs more and morehelp but she's one of the family so we just do our best to give herquality of life .that’s the most important thing I think anywaysome folks have no time for animals and to be frank I don’t have tomuch time for them.

I think my worst incident when keeping fish is a bad infestationof fish lice or flukes

they are the hardest thing to control and not keeping up on themwill almost certainly lead to prolific fish loss.
